Our Curriculum

When at daycare, children enter a new world, which they can explore and learn from. Each age group is tasked with learning new things, that will develop their mental thinking skills. Progress reports are done, according to the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC)

Infants

Cognitive development for babies, means the learning process of memory, language, thinking, and reasoning.

Toddlers

The toddler years are a time of great cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Preschool-Kindergarten

Pretend play is more complex and imaginative, and can be sustained for longer periods. They often complete tasks, and become more self-reliant.

Puzzles

Puzzles and games can promote problem solving in young children and help them develop critical thinking skills.

Letters & Numbers

To familiarize the child with letters and numbers before they enter Kindergarten.

Outdoors

Outdoor activities (weather permitting) helps increase fine and gross motor skills in young children. Also promotes exercise, socialization, and fantasy play.

Clean Up

Clean up activities can be fun and promotes responsibility and self-confidence in children. Also, helps children feel a sense of belonging.

Storytelling

Reading stories promotes critical thinking skills and curiosity.

Naptime

Napping improves a child’s mood, alertness, and performance.

Calendar

Calendar helps the child learn the days of the week, numbers, holidays, seasons, and months. Children also learn about the different seasons and the weather.

Music & Dance

Active movement will help the child to exercise their muscles. Music and Dance will also help with fine and gross motor skills.

Kitchen

To help the child develop their cognitive and social skills thru fantasy play.
